William Harold Walker passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 72. He was born on Wednesday, December 28, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Betty Kayser Walker and the late Billy Harold Walker. He was a resident of Walker, Louisiana. William served in the United States Air Force from 1969 until 1975, and served in Vietnam as well as Thailand.
William is survived by his children, Jeremiah W. Walker, Michska A. Walker, and Jason A. Walker; the mother of his children, Rosie T. Shepard; grandchildren, Diamond-Rose Walker, Presely Walker, Paris A. Walker, Roman A. Walker, and John D. Fritchie; sister, Debbie W. Best (Charles); nieces, Christine Bean Anderson and April Bean Downs; and best friends, Patricia Campbell, Rhonda Newman, Bruce Jones, Eric Worthy, and Larry Easly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Harold Walker; and mother, Betty Kayser Walker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 12:30 PM.
Interment will follow in Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana at 2:00 PM.
